Who We Are
The CSRA Fly Fishers was chartered in 1990. Since that time we have strived to include a diversity of anglers of all ages, including those interested in warm water, salt water and cold water fishing. Our members include experts in fishing local waters and those who have fished in many parts of the world.
What We Do
The goal of our organization is to provide a local community of anglers for the advancement of the art, education and conservation of fly fishing. We are an affiliated member of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF), the only organized advocate for fly fishers on a national and regional level.
We organize club trips and outings that allow members to explore a wide variety of fly fishing environments in a setting that they can learn and socialize with other members.
Where We Meet
Our monthly meetings are held in the clubhouse of the River Island subdivision located on the Savannah River in Evans, GA. Club members frequently can be found honing their fly-casting skills prior to meeitngs on the dock below the clubhouse. Bring your rod and throw some tight loops before the meeting!
When We Meet
Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the 4th Monday of each month except December. Our meetings frequently offer a featured speaker, and most meetings conclude by 9:00 PM. The club also sponsors trips and other events throughout the month.See our interactive Club Calendar for the current schedule of events.
